It’s always a privilege to work with clients who are on the same wavelength. From the moment Ruth saw the clients’ canary yellow Wegner chairs and their art collection, she knew the project would be a fabulous meeting of the minds. The clients are busy professionals with two active teenagers so they wanted their new home to be a calm, happy place for celebrating life. They also wanted a mother-in-law suite, plenty of room for entertaining and abundant storage to keep life organized. Taking inspiration from the striking limestone and glass exterior, Ruth carried the modern textures into the interior with stone tile on the fireplace, custom wood cabinetry, natural fabrics and a stunning black-and-white dining room table that lends a rock-and-roll vibe to the formal dining room. Among the many fun moments, Ruth was delighted when her client nicknamed the house "La Casa de la Orange Door" and posted a photo of the front door on Instagram with the headline "Naranja!"
