When a pair of art collectors, world-travelers and outdoor enthusiasts found a loft on the sixth floor of an old industrial building in the Lowertown neighborhood of Saint Paul, they invited Ruth to help blend his love of modern Italian style with her passion for all things bohemian. Using the stunning views of downtown Saint Paul as a focal point, Ruth and her clients planned the loft to create an elegant visual progression through the space. Concrete floors, handmade rugs, plaster walls and other earth-toned organic materials provide a quiet backdrop for the clients' collection of heirloom furniture, Asian and French antiques and modern pieces while an Italian Valcucine kitchen is a magnet for friends and family.
